Jessica is a poet and essayist. When not helping people in front-line legal work or teaching, she is with her young family, keeping company with books, learning something, writing, or buried in her record collection. She is a creative old soul — too serious and too enthusiastic— embracing idealism and pragmatism. She writes for music, fleeting images and the liminal spaces of emotion.
Her work can be found in The Royal City Literary Arts Society Wordplay at Work ezine, Pocket Lint, Bewildering Stories, Goat’s Milk Magazine, Blank Spaces Magazine, Rat’s Ass Review, Tiny Spoon, Dream Pop Press, The South Shore Review, Blue Heron Review, among others including Medium publications: Loose Words, The Riff, The Junction, Hinged, Weeds & Wildflowers, and others. She lives in British Columbia.
