Jessica Lee McMillan (she/her) is a writer, poet and teacher with an MA in English and Certificate of Creative Writing from Simon Fraser University's The Writer's Studio. She is a full member of The League of Canadian Poets. Sometime Jessica stops in here for the communities she loves (music and poetry). Jessica’s work has appeared/is forthcoming in about 50 journals across Turtle Island including The Malahat Review, Canadian Literature, CV2, Crab Creek Review, QWERTY, and The New Quarterly. Jessica was a finalist for The Fiddlehead’s 2023 Ralph Gustafson Poetry Contest. She placed third in the 2024 ROOM Poetry Contest and won the 2025 Royal City Literary Arts Society Write On! Contest for Poetry. Jessica has also been nominated for the Pushcart and Best of the Net.
