Jessica Lee McMillan (she/her) is a writer, poet and civil servant with an MA in English and Certificate of Creative Writing from Simon Fraser University's The Writer's Studio. She is now working on a poetry collection. Jessica's work explores perception, existential concerns, language, the body, pop culture, music, film, social justice, the natural sciences and scale. Her work has been published in over 30 literary magazines and journals across Canada and the US. Jessica is a member of The League of Canadian Poets, the Royal City Literary Arts Society and placed first in the 2022 RCLAS Write On! Contest for poetry. She has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize and Best of the Net.

Jessica lives with her little family and large dog in southern British Columbia and expects to be buried under her shelves of books and records.
